Leonardo Academy's primary focus in November was to get ready for and participate in Greenbuild.  As always this was agreat event with over 20,000 attendees and 1,800 vendors, comprised of companies and organizations, to showcase their green building products and services. A major hightlight, was the keynote address, presented by former U.S. Vice President and environmental advocate, Al Gore, followed by a Sheryl Crow concert.

 
Having attended each Greenbuild since 2002 in Austin Texas, it is absolutely amazing what the USGBC, LEED and GreenBuild have accomplished as a founding driver for sustainability and green buildings.

This is a celebration for all building owners and managers involved in making their buildings green. It’s an informal reception that includes hors d’oeuvres, an open bar and a short recognition ceremony.

At 6 PM: Leonardo Academy President Michael Arny will lead a short recognition ceremony

Jessica and Kara at SE2Leonardo Academy participated in the 6th Annual SE2 Conference in Milwaukee on September 15 & 16; Wisconsin's premier green building event. This event discussed the importance of renewal to our cities, energy independence, and that economy starts with what we already have.
